ESRA Workshops

Date: 23-24 May, 2018

Venue: Madrid, Spain

  • The second time under ESRA Workshop programmes which will be included the musclesketal ultrasound and new blocks for chronic chest pain.
  • 99,5% practical: Hands-on workshop with more than 10 hour of intensive practice on Thiel's embalmed cadavers (one per workgroup). Lectures are limited to what is necessary to lay the foundations on which build the hands-on block.
  • You will practice the regional anaesthesia techniques on Thiel's embalmed cadavers. The Thiel's embalmed cadavers real-life like and have good flexibility, tissue elasticity, color, texture that allow to get ultrasound images similar to those of live human models.
  • Innovative teaching 360 º method: We apply the Spin-up learning system® that allows our participants to make the most of the workshops. They get a deeply knowledge of each topic within small groups (4-6 people max) while getting continuous feedback from the professors. Our participants are highly motivated and practice, discuss and, above all, learn. They have the chance to rotate several times throughout the different workstations. The participants come to do by their own, not to see how others do.
  • High-level faculty: We have the best-trained and skilled international professors in anaesthesia and echoanatomy.
  • Photos allowed: All participants can take photos or ask the workshop staff to take the photos they'd like. We ask, however, that in public or professional use, they provide full credit to our work: date, course name, and location (Autonomous University of Madrid). It's a unique opportunity for those who need good quality images for their research or papers.
